ACTION
KIDS
A
new fitness session for 8 to 14 years of age which will be made up of
the Swim Ireland “So Swim”
Programme and the Irish Water Safety “Marlin
Level 9 Award”
The
session will be a mixture of Swimming Technique, Water Safety and Lane
Swimming to build on what they can already do to increase their stamina
and endurance. Stroke correction will be given and practiced along with
discussions around water safety at the beach & inland waterways.
The overall aim is to improve fitness levels with lane swimming, introduce
Water Safety and improve their current swimming ability. This is a very
exciting new child fitness programme and plenty of parents have shown
a keen interest in booking in their children already!.
The
Marlin 9 Irish Water Safety Award will be awarded on completion
of the 6 weeks. The price is only €55 and it will run on Fridays
at 1pm from July 6th to Aug 10th inclusive. We hope those who participate
will go on to complete the Marlin Level 11
to further improve their fitness in our “Action
Kids 2” programme in late summer.
